That is a great idea and I hope the project gains traction that other cities pick it up. Not only will it point out simple fixes that need to be made along streets that would improve cycling exponentially. It could help the city see where the street cleaners need to concentrate, allow the police see areas along roads where a concentration of liquor bottles are discarded.
I think bikes like this should be ridden by meter maids as they patrol city streets.
