It is World Water Week, which should be a time to think about things like the scarcity of clean water in many parts of the world and people drinking water known to be contaminated in others. But in New Jersey we might also be forgiven for thinking simultaneously about water surpluses resulting from Nor'Easters and hurricanes, since it is that time of year: "The climatological peak of the season is during the second week of
September, so – on average – that is when all of the ingredients
typically do come together."
