Pedestrian bridges

I will admit to being a complete sucker for Calatrava bridges (who isn't?), but it was great to see this alternative: Atlantic Cities' slideshow of Non-Calatrava pedestrian bridges.

David - check your email about the pedestrian bridge at Bull's Island State Park to Lumberville, PA.

That bridge is being rehabbed, and the historic preservation crowd actually supported a design that retained the current ugly chain link fence!

I opposed that, of course.

Am I a revisionista?
