Where are the students when you need them? The news continues to march ahead on the former Ford Motor Company site in Edison (formerly
here). And it is happening in ways that could create some good learning opportunities. The plans for the 98-acre site are pretty intense and a dramatic change from what it used to be like. The issues have included questions about shared parking, contamination cleanup standards, when the public gets to participate, how the developer works with the planning board, and which decisions are for the board versus the council.
